The Comanche Nation is one of the most northwestern extensions of the Uto-Aztecan family of languages of the Nations of Indigenous Peoples of Abya Yala North, Cemanahuac [the Americas].

The history of the Comanche Nation is then also an expression in the larger geopolitical sense of the history of the nationhood of the Nahuatlaca Peoples, which includes ALL MEXICANS, but not necessarily Latinos nor definitely Hispanics who owe their allegiances to immigrant cultural schema that have been imposed on our territories since the ILLEGAL invasion on October 12, 1492 by the same European-American imperial interests that in today's time now COLLUDE to present their narrative of cultural supremacy through public media platforms of that reinforce the Euro-centric context of the Masters' Narrative: La Niña, La Pinta, La Santa Maria, the Mayflower: The NAFTA and the NARCO.

We will not comply.

As Nations of Indigenous Peoples of Abya Yala, we will not abide by the corporate media's strategy to comodify our constituencies with "marketing strategies" that never address our Right of Self Determination as Indigenous Peoples in proper context, namely as a Universal Right of ALL PEOPLES under International Human Rights law.

To present a Mexican American studies curriculum within the state of Texas, without integrating the above is then yet another form of genocide, intellectual genocide now being promoted by the melding of Anglo-Latin elites as they collude and compete for power over lands which they have violated by colonization, and which is a violation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, specifically:

Article 14

1. Indigenous peoples have the right to establish and control their educational systems and institutions providing education in their own languages, in a manner appropriate to their cultural methods of teaching and learning.

2. Indigenous individuals, particularly children, have the right to all levels and forms of education of the State without discrimination.

3. States shall, in conjunction with indigenous peoples, take effective measures, in order for indigenous individuals, particularly children, including those living outside their communities, to have access, when possible, to an education in their own culture and provided in their own language.

Article 15

1. Indigenous peoples have the right to the dignity and diversity of their cultures, traditions, histories and aspirations which shall be appropriately reflected in education and public information.

2. States shall take effective measures, in consultation and cooperation with the indigenous peoples concerned, to combat prejudice and eliminate discrimination and to promote tolerance, understanding and good relations among indigenous peoples and all other segments of society.

The Latino-American identity is a cultural construct of the European American imperialists, specifically the French, who deliberately inserted the concept as a wedge against the Anglo American project of Continental Empire when both projects of colonization were competing over the spoils in terms of land, resources and LABOR of our continent of the Great Turtle Island, Abya Yala.

This scenario of the five centuries of colonization has at every turn been re-inforced by both the private and public educational systems of the colonizers, who simultaneously did everything possible "by all means necessary" to discredit, diminish or destroy the intellectual systems of the Indigenous Nations, infamously evidenced by the book (AMOXTLI) burnings by Bishop Zumarraga in 1500's. Zumarraga also ordered the burning at the stake of Indigenous Resistors who would not submit to the mandates of the Spanish Inquisition in Mexico.

We now we call for collective corrective actions based upon the global call to DISMANTLE the DOCTRINE of DISCOVERY, in terms of public education systems in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo Territories DEMAND as a TREATY RIGHT, inherent TO our collective INTERNATIONAL PERSONALITY as MEXICANS according to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
